For most Inner West houses and terraces, we recommend the Building & Termite Inspection ($595) as the essential minimum. The older the property and the more complex the building, the more value you get from adding electrical ($695) or the full thermal imaging package ($890). If you're unsure, call us — we'll advise you based on the specific property with no obligation.

The dilapidation report price depends on how many properties need to be inspected. If construction is planned next to your property, typically only your property needs a report ($495). If you're a builder or developer and need reports on both neighbouring properties, the two-property price ($890) covers both in a single mobilisation. For three or more properties, contact us for a custom quote.

Thermal imaging cameras detect temperature differences in surfaces — revealing hidden moisture behind walls and ceilings that would be invisible during a standard visual inspection, missing or failed insulation in roof spaces and walls, and electrical hot spots in switchboards and wiring that can indicate overloading or fire risk. It's particularly valuable in older Inner West properties where damp is common and original electrical systems may still be in place.

Payment is required before the report is released — typically by bank transfer or card payment after the inspection and before the report is emailed to you. We'll confirm payment details when you book. We don't require full payment upfront at the time of booking.
